  1. Each cell in the table represents a comparison between two sample types. Cells above the diagonal report the number of genes that were up-regulated in the later of the two compared stages. Cells below an empty cell report the number of genes that were down-regulated in the later of the two compared stages. Cutoff for differential expression was false discovery rate of 0.001. Stages are shown in order of earlier (Pad) to later (Ripe).
